Jesse Cetz

Hi, I’m Jesse! I believe in helping individuals and couples on their path toward flourishing relationships.

I am a first-generation Latino with white privilege. I grew up in a low-socioeconomic neighborhood. I began this journey with a desire for couples to build healthy foundations together, and for children to find their voice in the world around them.

In therapy, I utilize an attachment-based approach that emphasizes change occurring in the therapy room with an exploration of core emotions at the root. I believe that children can find their voice through play; the playroom can be a space for kids to learn & grow. You can expect me to show up as the unique me because I value you bringing your unique self.

I am completing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at George Fox University, with Sharon Hale as my supervisor. When you work with me, you get the benefit of my own experience of providing counseling, as well as the feedback and support provided by my supervisor. I’ve also completed extra training in working with couples and individuals, using Emotionally-Focused Therapy.

My specialties: Couples, bi-racial couples, and individuals- particularly Latino men & men of color.
Rate: $40 per session
