The Postpartum Connection:

A Group for New Moms

Hey Mama, You’re Not Alone

Becoming a mom? Beautiful.

Becoming anxious about it? Completely normal.

If motherhood feels like you’ve been handed a tiny human along with a giant dose of worry, you’re in the right place. The Postpartum Connection group provides specialized, expert-driven support tailored just for new moms like you—warmly delivered with understanding, humor, and zero judgment.

Who is it for?

This group is designed especially for new mothers aged 20-40 who find themselves battling overwhelming anxiety, coping with limited support, and navigating the challenging transition of identity after childbirth. If late-night worries, self-doubt, or the question, “Who even am I, now?” sounds familiar, we’ve got your back.

Our sessions are confidential, empathetic, and guided by therapists who deeply understand maternal mental health. This is your safe space to breathe, share, laugh, and reclaim your peace of mind.

What to Expect:

Week 1: Hello and Welcome (Bring Your Tired Self)
Meet your fellow moms, share your story if you’d like, and start building a supportive network. Trust us, you’ll soon realize you’re not alone in your thoughts (or your sleep deprivation).

Week 2: Anxiety 101 (No Tests, Promise)
Understand anxiety specifically as it manifests in motherhood. Learn the biology and psychology behind it, share your experiences, and discover you’re not alone or “going crazy.”

Week 3: Mindfulness for the Mom Mind (Even if Yours Feels Like Chaos)
Learn and practice mindfulness and relaxation strategies to manage daily stress. Enjoy guided mindfulness exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, and deep breathing to help you find calm amidst chaos.

Week 4: Mommy’s Mindset Reset
Dive into Cognitive Behavioral Techniques. Together, we’ll identify and challenge anxiety-inducing thoughts (like those pesky “what-ifs”), and learn practical ways to reshape your thinking.

Week 5: Resilience Building (Because Mom Life is Full of Curveballs)
Strengthen your emotional resilience with exercises and role-play scenarios designed to help you cope effectively with setbacks, sleepless nights, and spilled milk (literally).

Week 6: Ask For What You Need (Without Apologizing)
Develop assertive communication skills to effectively engage partners, family, and friends. You’ll craft your personalized ‘support plan,’ ensuring help is just an ask away.

Week 7: Remembering You (Yes, You!)
Explore your evolving identity and create personalized self-care routines. Address feelings of identity loss with narrative therapy techniques, ensuring you never forget you’re more than “just mom.”

Week 8: You’ve Got This (and We’ve Got You)
Celebrate your progress, review strategies, and confidently plan your path forward. We’ll help you set realistic goals and equip you with relapse-prevention strategies to maintain your newfound strength and joy in motherhood.
