Noelani Headshot

Hi, I’m Noelani!

My heart lies with those who feel as if they’re on the sidelines of life; who don’t typically see identities like theirs accepted in society; and who are navigating the complexities of multicultural and intercultural relationships. Maybe you’re tired of the endless arguing with your partner, feeling stuck and lonely hoping someone could see you, or even feeling a bit embarrassed to admit that you’re wanting more out of your relationship and life. I get it. I want to listen, support, and help you. Life is messy and maybe your relationship feels chaotic, but I firmly believe that healing is possible. While we can’t avoid the messiness, pain, and loneliness of life, we can experience a sense of purpose, peace, and joy through authentic and meaningful connection with others.

I work with couples and families navigating the ups and downs of intercultural and multicultural relationships, exploring and processing sexuality and intimacy, seeking to address and heal relationship insecurities, and those who really just need a space to say the socially unacceptable and just “be.”

I believe that oftentimes, our bodies store and convey emotions and traumas before we even are mindfully aware of them. The body communicates beyond the verbal, and I hope to provide a comfortable space in order to listen and attune to your body and your experiences. Rather than being a more cognitive-based individual, I gravitate towards a more bodily-aware and emotion-focused approach to counseling.  I’m here to offer my support, new insights, and gentle nudges as you grow.

I am currently a graduate student attending George Fox University, pursuing my master’s in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling. I have years of experience working in various early childhood settings and public spaces, and I bring my knowledge and love of people into our time together. When I am not in class or seeing clients, I enjoy exploring second-hand stores, sitting down with an oat cortado at a coffee shop with my husband, and experiencing feel good movement through yoga or running!

My specialties: Children, Teens, Adults, Families, Couples, interracial/multicultural couples, BIPOC individuals, all genders.
Credentials: Graduate Student Intern from George Fox University
